最近、意味のないものが好きになってきました。
以前は実用的でないものには目もくれない主義でしたが。
This is John Cage's work titled 'As Slow As Possible',
which is the longest piece of music in the world.
A few sounds for one year.
It needs 639 years in finishing the performance.
Besides, there is the year of the silence.
Like a ceremony for one year a few sound,Vaughn …
But everybody is serious very much and looks happy.
これはジョン・ケージによる世界で一番長い曲です。
「As Slow As Possible」。（出来る限り遅く）
一年に数音。演奏するのに639年。無音の年もあるとか。
儀式のように一年に数音、ボーン…。
でもなぜか皆、大真面目で、そして楽しそうです。
There is something fascinating about its uselessness.
I can feel fun.After that,I think this might be a great thing.
I think about various possibility.
What's this? It's super cool!
無用なものに愛おしさを感じます。
いたずらを見つけた時のような笑みがこぼれます。
その後、もしやすごく意味のあることなんじゃないかと思ったりします。
いろいろな可能性が頭をぐるぐる巡ります。
意味不明…そういうのもに、最近ひかれます。超クール！

Jean-Michel Othoniel : My Way
I went to the exhibition "Jean-Michel Othoniel: My Way"
at Hara Museum of contemporary Art, Shinagawa,Tokyo.
He is the French artist known for his decorative, sensual artwork
made with vibrantly colored glass.
東京・品川の原美術館で行われている、
『ジャン＝ミシェル オトニエル：マイ ウェイ』展に行ってきました。
1964年生まれのオトニエルさんは、装飾的、官能的なガラスの作品で知られる
フランスのアーティストです。
We are allowed to take pictures at this exhibition. Besides,tomorrow is the last day.
So it was crowded very much.
Of these situation, somehow, I could take photos, too.
めずらしく写真撮影可能な展覧会。しかも明日が最終日。
ということで、大変混雑していました。
そんな中、私もなんとか撮影してきました。

There was a dreamland where all women seemed to be enchanted by there.
His works has intellectual refinement, that is not too sweet at all.
The translucency of the glass, bright colors,
The feeling of a material with coldness and warmth,
A feeling of comfortable weight,
Strange form to thrill people...I was excited.
そこには、女性なら誰でもうっとりする様な、夢の世界がありました。
でも決して甘過ぎず、知的な上品さを兼ね備えています。
ガラスの透明感、鮮やかな発色、
冷たさと温もりのある質感、心地よい重量感、
わくわくさせる奇妙な形態…、気分があがります。
In addition, his early work using lead or the wax is displayed, too.
I prefer to these works because it was sensual.
また、鉛やワックス（蜜蝋など）を使った初期の作品も展示されています。
これがまた、官能的で良いのです。
私個人的には、こちらの方も、かなりお気に入りです。
By the way, there is the value of seeing in this museum as a building.
If you come to this area, please drop.
明日夕方５時までなのですが、とてもおすすめの展覧会でした。
ちなみに原美術館は、建物としても一見の価値ありですよ。

これ、Reconstructionでは？！と思いました。
Reconstruction；再構成。
それは今、私達が取り組んでいる作品のテーマです。
一度作った絵をCut-outし、もう一度再構成する。
そのプロセスを通して、
Reconstructionの意義を伝達する為のデザインを
試行錯誤しているところです。
批評家Ｍ・フリードは、このCut-outについて、
切り抜かれた部分は視覚的な「盲点（blind spot）」
として機能すると説いたそうです。
人は誰でも、一度完成させてしまうとなかなかそれを外す事はできない。
しかしそこには見えてない盲点があるのです。
それに気がつき、それを面白がることで
より包容力のある、かつ新鮮な画面が生まれるのではないかと思います。

かつてメディチ家のもとには、芸術家や科学者など多種多様な人々が集まり、
学びあう場になりました。そう、交差点。
ここでの交流が、ルネッサンスの源流となったそうです。

Like a jigsaw puzzle
In fact, I continued it as ever. "Night/ The fresh start series".
I drew the whole building on one piece of board so far.
However, it was too small.
I felt a limit without going well even if I draw it how many times.
That's why I decided I divided one piece of picture, and to draw it.
実は相変わらず続いていました。Night・やり直しシリーズ。
今までは１枚のボードに建物全体を描いていました。
しかし、それだと人々が小さすぎて（米粒サイズ！）
何度描いても上手くいかず、限界を感じます。
ということで、１枚の絵を分割して描いていくことにしました。

多少のずれも、色味の違いも、
かえって良い味になる気がします。

Paint on canvas
I painted the picture (that I draw by PC recently) on canvas.
What is the difference between canvas and monitor?
The picture of monitor is flat, and color development is good.
On the other hand, the surface of canvas is rough, and with thickness.
It may be said that It changed in 3D, and there is the presence as the object.
最近PCで制作している絵をキャンバスに描いてみました。
キャンバスとモニターの違いは何か？
モニターの絵はフラットで、発色が良い。
一方、キャンバスの表面は荒いし、厚みもある、
なので、立体的というか、モノとしての存在感が強くなります。
色は、RGBの色を再現するのが困難なのは周知のとおりですが、
たとえ全く同じ色が再現出来たとしても、やや印象が違う。
それは、絵の具の持つ存在感があるからです。
「ぬくもり」分の重みが増します。
まず、下からカスレて見えて欲しい色を下塗りしました。
I happened to think it might be enough.
But I made it with another picture as set at this time.
I decided to paint it according to the plan by PC.
However...
When I painted as a color displayed with a monitor,
I feel like it was slimy halfway.Oh my god!
So I made the color that was slightly stronger than a plan by PC.
ふと「これはこれで良いかも？」との思いがよぎりましたが、
今回はもう１枚別の絵とセットで制作しているので
バランスを考え、PCでのラフどおりに制作します。
ところが…
モニターに表示される色を忠実に再現して描くと、
中途半端でヌメッとした感じを受けました。
そこで、予定よりやや強い発色の色にしました。
How about it? I want to draw it more in various ways.
如何でしょうか。まだまだ研究の余地がありそうです。

Jan & Eva Svankmajer
I went to the exhibition of Mr.& Mrs.Svankmajer who are Surrealists in Czech.
"Jan & Eva Svankmajer : Film and Its Margins"
In there, many artworks are displayed such as sculptures, paintings, prints, drawings,
collages and more. Besides,it is displayed to woodblock prints
inspired by Japanese themes and motifs like Lafcadio Hearn's "Kwaidan".
I enjoyed these variety works very much.
In internet, you may feel that his images are grotesque,
But the real works are different from them.
Their handmade works are powerful! That amazes me!
チェコのシュルレアリスト・シュヴァンクマイエル夫妻の展覧会に行ってきました。
『ヤン＆エヴァ シュヴァンクマイエル展 〜映画とその周辺〜』
シュールなオブジェあり、油絵あり、セットあり、過去の映画あり、
妖怪の木版画やコラージュまでも！
と盛りだくさんで、とても面白かったです。
グロテスクさに目がいきがちですが、
いざ作者が作った本物を目の前にすると、
手で作られた造形の迫力に、クラクラさせられます。
"Survivinglife" The movie by the paper-cutting animation is also released from today.
The making video,storyboard, and the collage that was cut with a cutter are displayed.

But I was surprised whether he could do it depending on imagination.
カット（切り絵）アニメーションによる映画も今日から公開です。
映画『サヴァイヴィング ライフ 〜夢は第二の人生〜』
そのメイキングや絵コンテ、実際にカッターで切り、コラージュした画像等も展示。
予算がないから切り絵、ということでしたが、
想像力次第で、ここまで出来るのですね。
And the last is a portrait by Japanese Photographer EIKO HOSOE.
His dearest wife Eve died in 2005,
Jan in white cloth was projected their work and wife.
He said "I could feel her to be even if I closed my eyes."
I can feel how they worked hard in alteregoism pressingly.
I was impressive. This is a really recommended exhibition.
最後は写真家：細江英公氏によるポートレート。
最愛の妻・エヴァさんは2005年に亡くなられましたが、
白い布をまとったヤンに、二人の作品や奥さんを映して撮影。
「目をつむっていても彼女を感じた」いうヤンの表情に、
いかに二人が信頼しあい創作活動に励んでいたか、ひしひしと感じ
なんだか感動的でした。

In there, many artworks are displayed such as sculptures, paintings, prints, drawings,

Do you know Sanzo Wada? He is a oil painter(1883-1967).

There is a book based on the color total model that he produced.
I borrowed it from the library.

Recently,It is very hot. I wake up early in the morning.
So I tried to paint with his colors.
By Matsuda Design & Dessin,"The basics of the color are Dessin, too"
In order to be conscious of 3D expression in the monochrome,
The form made a cube.
I think that the method can understand the property that the color has.
Not only the Japanese name but also the English name is romantic.
The color stirs our imagination.

明治、大正、昭和を生きた洋画家です。
「南風」という絵が有名です。（東京国立近代美術館所蔵）
氏が制作した配色総鑑を元にした本があります。
淡々と色が並べられているのが心地良く、
図書館から借りてみました。

最近、暑さのせいか、朝早く目覚めます。
折角なので、出勤前のひととき、脳トレ（？）がてらに
その色を塗ってみることにしました。
マツダデザイン＆デッサンでは、「色彩の基本もデッサンにあり」。
モノクロームにおける立体表現、を意識するべく、
形は立方体にしてみました。
その方が、色の持つ性質がわかる気がします。
色はイマジネーション。
和名のみならず、英語名も粋です。
感想：
通常の配色事典と違い、和田オリジナルの配色なので、
やはり渋い色が多く、組み合わせも絵画的な気がします。
今回はランダムに塗りましたが、もう少し整理できそう！
と思ったところで、本日の"ひとり朝活"は終了〜。

Recently,I am interested in a certain Athlete who appears in the Station.
He is "DISCOBOLOS".
I found such an article with a newspaper the other day.
I think it is the same as the technique of our dessin.
A straight line and a curve. Movement.
We try to drew Brutus, Medici in a sign(ex."v""W")
as to notice the simple form.

最近、駅で見かけるアスリートが気になります。
彼の名はディスコボロス、『円盤投げ』です。
先日、彼についての興味深い記事（解説）を見つけました。
ムーブメントを表す、弓矢のような曲線と直線（上図）。
このように形を単純化させて見ると、
芯となる動きが見えてきて面白いものです。
私達のデッサンワークショップでは、
全体のムーブメントを捉えるためだけでなく、
もう少し細かく、"隆起した形"（フォルム）をとらえる為に、
アルファベットの『v』『w』などで描く実験も行っています。

ところで、WとC……。お、お手洗い？…ではありません。
ディスコボロス（『円盤投げ』）は、紀元前に作られた、
永遠の美と若さをたたえた傑作です。

Calder？
The mobile which is famous in Alexander Calder.
But this is a work of my niece.
She made it with a colorful joint (paper clay) and stick.
She said "The theme is heart."
Can you see so it?

モビールと言えば、アレクサンダー・カルダ−。
ですが、これは私の姪の作品です。
細い棒（つまようじ）を紙粘土のジョイントでつなぎ、
色を塗り塗り。
テーマは「ハート」だそうです。
お分かりいただけますでしょうか。
（点と線の表現ですね。立体の基本でもあります。）

Monochrome conversion
A card of Matisse which I introduced before.
I copied it in monochrome.
What I did it and understood.
There is dynamism.
One place does not have a boring point either.

マティスの絵ハガキをモノクロで模写してみました。（部分）
描いてみて改めて思いました。
ダイナミックな筆運びが気持ち良い！
そして、どの箇所をとっても飽きることがない！
マティスがデッサンについて語っている動画を発見しました。
氏いわく「デッサンは限られた道具を使った絵画」だそうです。

Marie Laurencin / I copied her picture for study.
I drew to change the picture of the color to monochrome by 4 grey pencils.

Because a fixed date to return approached, I try to copy it.
