Souvenir of the piano recital

Today is the Piano Recital
that I have been learning for many years.
It is the 40th anniversary memory.

This is the present which I chose.

Capital of the music, Wien.
So, I selected DEMEL's cookie,
Vienna Imperial Family purveyance for the government.
I can feel music to the pattern of the wrapper.

And message card is the picture of Matisse.
I bought it in 1993.
The title is "music lesson".
My teacher is a woman, too
On this picture,Score of Haydn is drawn.

Haydn is an Austrian composer.
I played music of Haydn on my first Piano Recital.
Therefore,I think that the card is most suitable.


OK, I go!

Why…

Just 1 month has passed since the huge earthquake and tsunami
devastated the Pacific coast of north-eastern Japan.

However, just around 5 minutes ago,
I felt the house shake in the earthquake.
(I live in Tokyo.)

Why...
It is terrible what has happened to us in Japan.
I become sad when I think of fear and the discouragement
of the various places of the stricken area.
I wish a peaceful day comes as soon as possible.

TODAY'S class: Color Pencils

A personal thing is a motif.
For example,
the design of the curtain to a shirt and pants.
Oh, there is an umbrella there.
How will you draw the umbrella for designing it?

I have given a party in celebration of my birthday.
It was the wonderful time with warm feelings and the delicious dishes.
The folkishness shirt is pretty&cool.

All of you suffered from by this earthquake
& the people who still wait for help,
I am praying for all of your safety.

Today's class:

Marie Laurencin / I copied her picture for study.
I drew to change the picture of the color to monochrome by 4 grey pencils.

Matisse

I borrowed a book of Matisse from the library.
Because a fixed date to return approached, I try to copy it.

Night

The feel of a material of the pencil.
It brings warmth　to feel darkly in the hard world.

It resembled a circle of the yesterday's salad accidentally.

The silhouette

To catch the silhouette.
To make use of a natural flow and drop ink.

We should select the colors and the form
that matched the little pretty girl.

I tried to cook the chocolate cake.

I think that banana Tips and the walnut match chocolate taste.
