Walnut Line

(↑　from my memo)
The husk of the walnut looks like grasps a fist tightly and compressed it.
Therefore the line which is worn-out is fit than a neat line.

The theme of the recent work is an organic line.
I design the humanity line by the computer.
With the comfortable worn-out rhythm?
Now searching the best way.

What is important on the premise,It is a change of the aspects.

No matter how worn-out line,
If you draw the form without being conscious of the aspect,
It looks even form generally, you will be disappointed.

クルミの殻は、ギューッとこぶしを握って圧縮した感じ。
だから、すっきりとしたラインより、ヨレヨレがふさわしい。

最近のお仕事での裏・テーマは、有機的な線です。
人間味のある線を、コンピュータを使ってデザイン。
心地よいヨレヨレのリズムとは？
模索中です。

前提として大切なこと。それは面の変化です。
いくらヨレヨレの線でも、面を意識しないで形を描くと
のぺっとしたものになり、がっかり。

South Wind

Do you know Sanzo Wada?　He is a oil painter(1883-1967).
A picture called "South wind" is famous.
There is a book based on the color total model that he produced.
I borrowed it from the library.

Recently,It is very hot. I wake up early in the morning.
So I tried to paint with his colors.
By Matsuda Design & Dessin,"The basics of the color are Dessin, too"
In order to be conscious of 3D expression in the monochrome,
The form made a cube.
I think that the method can understand the property that the color has.




Not only the Japanese name but also the English name is romantic.
The color stirs our imagination.

和田三造という方をご存知ですか。
明治、大正、昭和を生きた洋画家です。
「南風」という絵が有名です。（東京国立近代美術館所蔵）
氏が制作した配色総鑑を元にした本があります。
淡々と色が並べられているのが心地良く、
図書館から借りてみました。

最近、暑さのせいか、朝早く目覚めます。
折角なので、出勤前のひととき、脳トレ（？）がてらに
その色を塗ってみることにしました。
マツダデザイン＆デッサンでは、「色彩の基本もデッサンにあり」。
モノクロームにおける立体表現、を意識するべく、
形は立方体にしてみました。
その方が、色の持つ性質がわかる気がします。

色はイマジネーション。
和名のみならず、英語名も粋です。

感想：
通常の配色事典と違い、和田オリジナルの配色なので、
やはり渋い色が多く、組み合わせも絵画的な気がします。
今回はランダムに塗りましたが、もう少し整理できそう！
と思ったところで、本日の"ひとり朝活"は終了〜。

I drew it not to forget the wrapper of lemon Jerry
that was presented yesterday.
It is not so an elaborate pattern.
But it becomes more charming when Jerry be wrapped up
and numbers increase.
A little nerdy design is good.
Be casual, be healthy.
It is an excellent supporting actor.

忘れないように、描いておきました。
昨日いただいたレモンジェリーの包み紙。
そんなに凝った柄ではないけれど、
ジェリ−が包まれ、更に数が集まるほどに魅力を増す、
そんな包み紙のデザイン。
ちょっとダサイところが好きです。
さりげなく、そして健全。
名脇役です。

使用画材：黒ケント／ポスターカラー／色鉛筆

表題のzest。我が社は恵比寿にあるので、
つい、あの、映画のセットのようなレストラン
"ZEST Cantina"を思い浮かべてしまいますが、
zestとは、レモンの皮、という意味でもあります。
さわやかな、心地よい刺激、ということですね。

5th Anniversary of foundation

Today is the anniversary of the founding of our company.
After full 5 years, we enter in the 6th year!
Time flies like an arrow.
We began to cultivate a wilderness and sow our seeds.
So the root be made.Finally,the sprout appeared.

今日は我が社の創立記念日でした。
まる５年を経て、６年目に突入！
光陰矢の如し。
荒れ地を耕すことから始めたマツダデザインですが、
種を蒔き、ようやく根もはって、
そろそろ新芽も顔を出したかなあ…
というところまで辿りつきました。
これも支えてくださっている皆様のお陰です。

偶然ですが、レモンつながりです。
自宅で作ってみました。

そう、これ、以前ブログでご紹介した缶です。
フタがあるので、持ち運びに便利！

W and C

Recently,I am interested in a certain Athlete who appears in the Station.
He is "DISCOBOLOS".
I found such an article with a newspaper the other day.



I think it is the same as the technique of our dessin.
A straight line and a curve. Movement.
We try to drew Brutus, Medici in a sign(ex."v""W")
as to notice the simple form.

最近、駅で見かけるアスリートが気になります。
彼の名はディスコボロス、『円盤投げ』です。

先日、彼についての興味深い記事（解説）を見つけました。
ムーブメントを表す、弓矢のような曲線と直線（上図）。

このように形を単純化させて見ると、
芯となる動きが見えてきて面白いものです。
私達のデッサンワークショップでは、
全体のムーブメントを捉えるためだけでなく、
もう少し細かく、"隆起した形"（フォルム）をとらえる為に、
アルファベットの『v』『w』などで描く実験も行っています。

ところで、WとC……。お、お手洗い？…ではありません。
ディスコボロス（『円盤投げ』）は、紀元前に作られた、
永遠の美と若さをたたえた傑作です。

今日は午前中、ホテル・マンハッタン（注）にて
モーニングコーヒーを頂きました。

香港の旅を思い出します。
それはちょうど、香港が中国に返還される前。

重慶マンションという多民族雑居ビル…
ウォン・カーウァイの『恋する惑星』…
その映画にも出てきた、
中環にある、長〜い『ヒルサイド・エスカレーター』…。

ROCKERS

I watched the video(VHS!) this morning.
"ROCKERS -I'm like a stepping razor-"
:1978 / Directed by Theodoeos Bafaloukos
It is the Jamaican movie.

First, I thought the movie is to enjoy Rock reggae music.
The musicians who felt music with their body...
It's great and so Cool!
But unexpectedly,
the last ending was quite interesting. It is throb.
By the way,
I like their fashionable hat. It's very cute!

ROCKERSというジャマイカ映画を見ました。

「オイオイ、大丈夫か〜」とつっこみたくなるような、
ちょっと危なっかしいけど明るく楽しい
レゲエミュージシャンが主人公です。

でも、やるときはやるのだ！
最後は爽快な結末の映画でした。

とってもキュートな帽子にも注目！



ROCKERS Soundrtack

Calder？

The mobile which is famous in Alexander Calder.
But this is a work of my niece.
She made it with a colorful joint (paper clay) and stick.
She said "The theme is heart."
Can you see so it?

モビールと言えば、アレクサンダー・カルダ−。
ですが、これは私の姪の作品です。
細い棒（つまようじ）を紙粘土のジョイントでつなぎ、
色を塗り塗り。
テーマは「ハート」だそうです。
お分かりいただけますでしょうか。

（点と線の表現ですね。立体の基本でもあります。）

Moving

The friend of my boss moved in to the top floor of the same building.
Therefore my boss and I went for celebration of moving.
Wind is comfortable. The view is the best, too.

A lot of individual people gathered.
I was entertained with Jingisukan and CHIJIMI which arrived from Hokkaido.
It was exciting evening.

なんと、偶然なのですが、
私達の仕事場のビルの屋上に、
社長のお友達がお引っ越しされました！
という訳で、お祝いに。

たくさんの個性的な方々が集まっていました。
長居する予定はなかったのですが、
気がつけば…
北海道から届いたというジンギスカン鍋、
そしてチヂミのご用意が…。

という訳で、
すっかりエンジョイさせていただいた夜でした。

お引っ越しされたその方は、
代官山でヘアサロンを営んでいます。

What I did it and understood.
There is dynamism.
One place does not have a boring point either.

マティスの絵ハガキをモノクロで模写してみました。（部分）
描いてみて改めて思いました。
ダイナミックな筆運びが気持ち良い！
そして、どの箇所をとっても飽きることがない！

マティスがデッサンについて語っている動画を発見しました。
氏いわく「デッサンは限られた道具を使った絵画」だそうです。
